Is Farsali worth the hype?

So the Internet went crazy over Farsali ($54) when it first dropped but I never wanted to spend that much money on a serum. After I recieved a Sephora gift card ($20) I figured I would put the rest of the money towards the purchase in hopes that it really improved my skin. When I first received my Sephora package I was in love with the way Farsali gold looked. It's absolutely mesmerizing! However, it does have somewhat of an Orange smell incase you're not into that. Anyways I've found that Farsali truly helps blend my makeup, however NYX dew me up works just as well at a way lower price tag ($17). So I was hoping over time that I would see some extraordinary results on my skin, sadly the results haven't be extraordinary. I do feel that my skin has improved and that it has minorly help with acne scars, but with such a large price tag I don't think I will purchase it again. Although the bottle is small it has lasted me a long time and I will still continue to use it, but I definitely don't feel it's worth the hype. I feel like the best thing about it is that it really helps to blend my makeup, but you can get a different product at a lower price tag for that.
